Mia Ocean - Driftwood

Mia Ocean - Song for my son

We hope that you enjoy the lyrics on Ocean & Other Short Stories. I (Mia!) feel that it is easy to recognise who wrote what as we have very different styles. I express my heart through the words of my songs and Drazen's lyrics are rich with symbolism and motief's - often criptic but always compelling. We enjoy performing them and hope you enjoy listening to them.

Mia & Drazen

Thinks it's her
Human Life At Sea
Ocean
Lebanon
Distance
Soul Bender
Next Pair Of Lovers
Hart's Café
Never Was
Three Minus Two
Untill The Credits Roll

Thinks it's her

Was that a knock on the door?
Do I hear a phone?
Or is my mind playing tricks,
Cos I know that you're gone.
I never felt this before,
Its twenty past eight,
I don't know what else to do,
I'll just sit here and wait.
No one explained it to me,
And I didn't know,
That for a guy like yourself,
Id be always too slow.
It looked too good to be true,
And so it was,
And if I'm going insane,
It's simply because,

Your phone is switched off,
You cannot be reached,
My mind is a blur,
But worst of all..I think it's her.

I think I know who she is,
I'm sure that we've met,
She's more attractive than me,
But that's not why I'm upset.
She's doing so many things,
I never could do,
I almost like her myself,
So why wouldn't you.
I'm slowly losing my mind,
Its twenty past nine,
Imagination runs wild,
I think I'm crossing the line.

Cos your phone is switched off,
You cannot be reached,
My mind is a blur,
But worst of all..I think it's her

I can't remember a thing,
I don't know how I got here,
Something's wrong, something's wrong.
Oh lord what have I done...I think it's her
