We hope that you enjoy the lyrics on Ocean & Other Short Stories. I
(Mia!) feel that it is easy to recognise who wrote what as we have
very different styles. I express my heart through the words of my
songs and Drazen's lyrics are rich with symbolism and motief's - often
criptic but always compelling. We enjoy performing them and hope you
enjoy listening to them.

Human Life At Sea
Your Nomadic, to my Titanic, you stay afloat while I go down,
Your people party, my people panic, but you never leave the town,
There's a sign with a number, to be called in advance,
But it doesn't really matter we never stood a chance,
But who gives a damn, world's busy dealing with important things,
much more important things than human life at sea.
I knew a singer, she was a darling, and she never went off key,
But she didn't like the cruising so she jumped into the sea.
I knew a sailor, a truly bad one, he never paid his dues
And he rarely thought of others and he always wore his shoes.
But who gives a damn...
As you ferry across the harbour, how many stop to think,
That regardless of where we travel, one day our ship is bound to sink,
They say that water has a memory; they say that water keeps a book,
Of every soul that came to join her, of every pair of hands she took.
But who gives a damn...
